Mielikki is the Finnish goddess of forests and the hunt. She is referred to in various tales as either the wife or the daughter-in-law of Tapio. She is said to have played a central role in the creation of the bear.
Mielikki is known as a skillful healer who heals the paws of animals who have escaped traps, helps chicks that have fallen from their nests and treats the wounds of wood grouses after their mating displays. She knows well the healing herbs and will also help humans if they know well enough to ask her for it. Her name is derived from the old Finnish word mielu which means luck.

Inanna is one of the most important goddesses of the Sumerian Pantheon. She is the Queen of heaven and earth, a healer, a giver of life, and a musician. She’s the keeper of all emotions; from love to compassion to lust to rage and everything in between. She gives gentle rains and heavy floods, and is the evening and morning star. She embodies the powerful, independent, and strong-willed feminine power.

Artemis is one of the most venerated Ancient Greek goddesses. She is of the hunt,   the moon, and a valued her own chastity. She assisted her own mother’s birth of her twin, Apollo. Because of this, she is also a goddess of childbirth. She is a daughter of Zues and the Titan Leto, and a protectress of the forest and all who inhabit it, as well as virgins.

Brigit ~ The fiery goddess of healing, hearth, fertility, creativity, and the smiths. She is daughter of the Dagda and wife of the god Bres, and her festival is on February 1st or 2nd. She later became Christianized as St. Brigid or St. Bride.

So I’ve never been too connected to Brigit to be honest. Never clicked with her. But this artwork is stunning.

Selene was the Greek moon goddess, daughter of the Titans Hyperion and Theia (according to Hesiod), and the sister of Helios and Eos. Later, she was identified with Artemis and called Phoebe. As Phoebe she was a huntress and archer. Selene was worshiped on the days of full and new moons.
She is described in the Homeric Hymn to Semele as mating with Zeus, through which union she produced Pandeia. She was in love with Endymion, according to Sappho and later sources. With him she had 50 daughters representing the months between the Olympic games. Every night, Selene visited and embraced Endymion, who slept as a result of the gift to him of eternal life and youth through eternal sleep.
